I got the privilege of going to the Sony party at this year's Game Developer Conference. It was much better than last years party and I had a blast.

One of the key highlights was a 'robot wars' like show as seen in the picture. They erected a Plexiglas structure in the corner of the hall and set a couple of robots to duke it out. I think they went through ~10 robots total and there was a lot of carnage.

This was a sweet restaurant in Nice. The restaurant is built in an old theatre and the kitchen is on the stage. The stage was enclosed in glass to most likely keep the noise down.

The food was very good, but I can't seem to remember the name. If your in Nice, just ask your hotel concierge. I'm pretty sure they don't have too many of these.

This was taken in Nice, France back in January. I was there for a standards body (the Khronos Group) meeting. The food was good (it is France after all) and the trip was enjoyable despite the rain.
